I wish I could get a better picture, but it is in an akward spot.

looks like egg mass of some sort(maybe from snail, nudi, or urchin?)

I see something like that in my tank and I'm positive it is snail related.. most likely tracks.. although mine has no color difference just a lack of film algae on the glass.

i agree with vitz. those are probably snail eggs. my cerith snail laid down a track like that. but it slowly became less and less until one day it was gone. i think that the pods ate them at night. let us know how it turns out.

Thats the one IMO.

And with regard to the crab, erm..... cant exactly be a quick mover if he got stuck there. You should give your Tuxedo Urchin some Barbie appendages, that would ROCK!!!!!!!!.

I've had something very close (picture is with 17x closeup lens):

Not sure what it was from. I *think* it was from Nassarius sp. snails. I've seen the same egg strip style in other tanks with them. You have any?

Yes, I have Nassarius snails. Maybe I'll have more little one's soon! :)

I wonder why my photos from photo.net aren't showing up? I check the "viewable by public" box. hmmm.

Louey,

Most photo on-line processing companies do not allow you to link to their photos (like in e-bay) as to reduce their traffic and bandwidth needs.

e-mail them to me and I will put them on my server.

reefland, yours look like crop circles. Maybe aliens invaded your tank!

I think you had to much popcorn when you saw "Signs" at the movie theater. Careful... they are watching you.

Louey,
What you have are snail eggs. I have seen my snails make these trails for months. This was my first questions on this board and no one responded. :( So I researched it myself and found out they were snail eggs. My tang loves them! :) Happy reefing

hmm, that works. I just attached the file to the post. I wonder if there is anyway to attach more than one file at a time to a individual post. Oh, well, I'll start adding them one at the time.
