I see something like that in my tank and I'm positive it is snail related.. most likely tracks.. although mine has no color difference just a lack of film algae on the glass.

i agree with vitz. those are probably snail eggs. my cerith snail laid down a track like that. but it slowly became less and less until one day it was gone. i think that the pods ate them at night. let us know how it turns out.

Yes, I have Nassarius snails. Maybe I'll have more little one's soon!

What you have are snail eggs. I have seen my snails make these trails for months. This was my first questions on this board and no one responded. So I researched it myself and found out they were snail eggs. My tang loves them! Happy reefing
