Keeping the Box warm during shipping

On the Advanced Aquarists- Short take Richard Durso did not do his homework to well. 35 years ago General Electric solve the packaging problem of keeping things warm thay used a layer of paper a layer of foil until thay five of each mix togather. It work very only loss 2 degrees in five days in the winter. the tem inside the box was 80 degrees. RGibson

I'm having a hard time understanding your post, but as I'm imagining this, it sounds heavy. What kind of paper, what kind of foil, layered in by hand?

A cheamical tank car? So I assume you are talking about a very large volume of liquid?

CAN we make that assumption? If so, then I must say that puts an entirely different light on the whole statement (accusing the aforementioned author, Durso, of not doing his homework). It makes me wonder, how many boxes of live ship has RGibson packed? How many has s/he received? How many has he had to pay the shipping bill for? What does he know (besides the content of the article that I didn't read) that I don't? What else belongs in this picture?
