Help, quick!!

I was just doing some maintenence in my sump tank and got electrocuted. The culprit is a Mag-Drive 18. Has this ever happened to anyone? Should I avoid Mag-Drives in the future? Is there any way to fix the pump? If not, is there anywhere in the Washington DC area where I can buy a pump with at least 1800GPH flow?
Thanks for your replies, I'm about to panic. I've had my tank up and running for about a year and haven't had anything this bad happen yet.

Your pump burned out. At least a few people on this board have had large mag-drives burn out on them. Iwaki makes good large-flow pumps, and you can get them threw most catalogues (try petsolutions). Good luck/hope you're OK! 8O

Mags have a good track record, unlike Rio pumps (avoid at all costs). Yours probably was a fluke. But fishfanatic is right on: get a Iwaki inline pump and you will never have this problem, I promise you. They're pumps that last for decades with no failure. If you can go inline over submersible, it's always the better choice.

NOthing you can do to fix the pump. Don't run it. If you have powerheads in the tank for circulation, you're tank will be fine for a few days before you can find a replacement for it. I'd also recommend sticking a powerhead in your sump so the water in there doesn't go sour as well. Bottom line is you need water movement or your water will go bad.
