Need a F8 / T5 Bulb, very white

I want a general "all around" good bulb for a small nana, probably no more than 3 gallon tank. The bulb that is in it is a T5 / F8 and it says "daylight" on it. The bulb has a horrible yellow tint to it. So far the tank is doing outstanding and would like a bright crisp white light for this tank. The highest i have seen in a kelvin rating was 6500, i do not know if this would be any different than what is in here already.

What is the length of the existing bulb? And does it have a stated wattage?

The bulb measures 11 3/4 from post to post. I am guessing the F8 is Flourescent 8watt and T5 is the special higher output Flour Technology.

What you got is what you got. If the bulb is marked daylight, it's probably a 6500K. THe better choice for both color and wattage would be to get a small PC setup. Check the nano forum, There are a lot of people setting up really small tanks.
