does it turn totally white again or does it keep a brown tint to it? I can't tell if I'm not using enough bleach or if they just never get fully clean.
I use to soak they in a bucket for a day or two, then rinse them off with a garden hose. they would come out totally white. now I run my through the washer with a little bleach (about a 1/2 cup). They come out fairly white a little hint of brown, but it's much easier to just throw them in the washer.
I use the washing machine also. My wife HATES it!!!!! What I do is two quick "fill then empty" cycles. This washes the tub out good. Then I do the bag only a full cycle. I dont add anything to it. I comes out of the washer pretty dry after going thru the spin cycle. I let it dry for a day or so thouogh. I have a couple of the micron bags so I rotate thru them (every 4 days!).
i've tried to rinse only, but the bag is still too dirty/clogged. I let mine dry with the hopes that any residual bleach would dissipate. Don't know if it's right or wrong, but it's just the way I do it :?
