Float switch...is this one worth the $$$?

I need one to shut off my main return pump in case of a blocked overflow as I don't want to flood my house (call me crazy). I want a good one but I wonder if there are better ones out there for the price?

The link does work. The reason with it is that IE need to be there after first time for the link to pop up correctly... don't know how to explain it well, but click on it twice and check the second IE popup window....

Anyway, back to the issue. There are a few psudeo-DIY switch similar to the ultralife, and they are cheaper. I guess you are paying for the brand name thing.

If you feel the product is valuable as a insurance, then think of it as a one-time-premium, and decide it for yourself rather the price is justified.

Yes, the Ultralife is the one I was inquiring about. I will probably get this one but I wanted to ask your guys first. If I don't do that I wind up wasting money every time. I just thought there might be some other mfg that you all might recommend for a better price.
