Since nearly everyone says to get a frogfish, that's what I'm going to do. Question now is (and I'm not sure anyone has experiences with this): Can frogfish live with an anemone in close quarters? I'm just afraid that one day it'll decide to perch on an anemone :?

As you can tell, I've never kept a frogfish before in my 15+ years in the hobby. Not many new things left to try ;)

I don't know about in an aquarium, but I have been on plenty of dives where I saw both frogfish and anemones. I would think that they would recognize it as dangerous.

Me too, Len. I've worked with froggies before (breeding), and while they wouldn't likely use an anemone as a perch, I WOULD be worried about them being eaten by the anemone. They are not strong swimmers, if they were on the move and got caught in any surge, they could be swept into tentacles.
