New 100 gallon Plan is Done!!!!!!!

Well..I have everything to start except my heater and some more sand. Have to move a couch out of the house to make room. Have to wait till payday to finish collecting everything...........I have decided to place all the inhabitants of my 29 gallon in it plus a Niger Trigger.I will search the Nigers till I find one that is not shy. I have seen a few that acted like Huma's. I will provide many hiding places for my inverts...and try keeping Mushrooms.....Open Brains and maybe some Leather. If it doesn't work out I will probably go fish only in this tank and set up another smaller tank for a Reef. I realized that I bought the tank because I wanted big fish so that is what I am going to do. I will set up a sump.......later...goin with a deep sandbed in the main tank..but not as deep as most people would recommend...... 3-4 inches max lots of aragonite(sugarsized..mixed with Puka Puka and some larger grain aragonite).I figure I can place a deep bed of 6 inches in my sump and grow stuff in that..when I get the money. This was one very difficult decision to make but I am done! LOL The plan is ready to carry out. My 29 will become my sump or a hospital tank.actually I may toss it out because I have used it for about 8 years now. Wish me luck!......and have fun! Oh wait I can use the stand for my Reef Only! ....LOL.nah.I need a Hospital Tank. I will stock it with a Radiata Lion just for fun! Oh Yeh!!

I guess I should keep it. Hey......I was goin to pick up that sand today and check out that Radiata you mentioned but I just balanced my checking and I only have about $.75 left in both accounts that has to last me till 4/16/03. I guess I messed up! LOL Well......I had to have that tank! My freezer is full and I will sell a few things to my Hockey Kids to get us through to payday. Whooooops!

Ok......Thats cool!....oh one more thing.I may need your help to get that furniture out of my room.LOL My tank is still in my jeep. I will have to find some younguns with good backs to help. LOL My bad ankle and back make this a problem. Oh......by the way.I fed some krill to my fish tonight and my Eel went nuts....chasing all my fish....it was a tense 10 minutes. I rushed to get some squid thawed out..handfed him and things calmed down. I thought my Clown,Gramma,and Hawk were goin to become food. The Snow even charged my Foxface! LOL The Snowflake needs to be fed first with a prong or by hand then the other fish. I was shocked that he left my Coral Banded Shrimp alone. they were only inches away from each other. This is so fun! LOL My shrooms are actin goofy. One is gone....the other two.are huge today.almost twicw what they usually are......my Green shrunk by at least two thirds its size...the reds got about twice their usual size.I thought they were dyin then bang. LOL Wierd animals.but real cool!

you must have found the right spot for them reds. im worried about shrimp and my eel also but im gonna add 2 cleaners anyway and see what happens. the shroom thats missing might have dropped off the rock and floating somewhere look for it mabe you can find a calm spot in the tank and place it there on another rock. it will take a day or two for it to attach. let me know when you wanna move that stuff. i might be off tommorrow if this thunder storm keeps up through the mourning.

I heard a little thunder but nothin serious so far...........My Coral Shrimp is out and about.doin just fine....This is my favorite invert this month. LOL I hope my Snow does not eat it. I want to get that tank set up so I can plan on a newer tank. LOL Call me at noon if you do not go to work.

the snow shouldent eat it i have been chatting with a few friends on the subject today. also my buddie is working today if you want some of that rock for cheap.
