This is a picture of some type of macro, with what apperars to be some sort of cyno growing on it. Not sure though. Any ideas?

And one last one.
This one started when the cyno looking stuff started in the first one.
It looks like a brown green fuzzy skin.

The pictures are crummy :? but I'll give it a try...

The leafy algae in photos 1 & 2 looks like the genus Sargassum. The ear-looking algae in photo #2 looks like the genus Padina or Lobophora. Photo #3 is unclear to me.

With your help I was able to find out that the first picture is of Sargassum hystrix. I still don't know what the stringy stuff thats growing off it is. Some sort of dino. algae problem ?
The second picture is definatly the Padina sanctae-crucis.

The third I agree the picture isn't that great but I thought the first 2 were OK, I will try to get a better one tomorrow.
