Ok all. I have a cleaner shrimp in a 20 gallon. I had a yellow coris wrasse in there with him but he jumped the day before yesterday. I am not going to put any new fish in the tank and the wrasse was the only one in there. SO my question is will the shrimp be ok with no fish? And do I need to feed him, or will he be ok without me feeding something. Please advise on this b/c I dont want the lil guy to starve. I have another tank I can put him in but figured i would leave him be to have some movement in the tank. Thanks is advance.

yes he'll be okay with out a fish for company :P What have you been feeding them? You should still continue some type of feeding, although it doesn't have to be quite as frequently as with the fish

I was feeding Brine Shrimp Plus frozen food. How often does he need to be fed? Once a week or more than that?

Yes, feed it! Brine shrimp is good, but low in protein. I recommend you also give Formula One and Formula Two, in chunks. I prefer these because they hold together well underwater, allowing the shrimp to grab and hold on while it eats.
Eventually your shrimp will become hand-tame, and will come to the surface to grab the food right from your fingers.
Depending on the size of your shrimp, feed at least three times a week, more often for larger shrimp. Once a day is not too much for a full grown shrimp.

He is already hand tame. I cant kep the little bastard off of me when I do have my hands in the tank. Wether it be moving rock, coral, or fliping over a snail he just jumps on and goes for a ride. But i dont mind. :D Thanks for the input on this subject. I will make sure to keep him well nourished. Thanks everyone.
