Right now I am feeding frozen pollock fish, chopped into small cubes.

The only reason I am feeding this is I was desperatly out of frozen food and when I was able to get the grocery store the seafood counter was closed so I checked out the prepackaged stuff. I found these pollock filets, the ingredients said just pollock fish, and it was a buck and change for about five filets!! Cheap enough that I bought it and went home to research this fish, it is an ocean fish, so I tried feeding it and everyone loves it! I have it chopped into very small bits in tupperware in the freezer, I just pour a little into a cup and thaw.

My Macrodactyla doreensis is ravenous for it.

I feed my tanks so much that those little frozen packs the LFS has are not an option.

I also feed flake and nori .

I used to actually blend seafoods and put them into little flat baggies, but now I have gotten lazy, I just rotate what kind of frozen seafood I use, salmon, shrimp, scallops ect.

Formula 1 & 2, Prime Reef, mysis shrimp (mmmm, tasty!), frozen clams, frozen salmon, frozen plankton, and Seaweed Selects.

Variety is the spice of life, right?

Feed the tank twice a day - three on weekends (anthias :) ) In the morning frozen food: Spirulina enriched brine, mysis schrimp, Omega brine. Evenings Omega One flake food.

I feed the anemones - pieces of shrimp, white fish, or scallops 3 x's a week.

I don't feed my LPS corals directly. They get whats floating in the water column.

Thanks for the ideas. Variety is definitely nice, but my fish have become very selective about what they'll eat. Right now, they're stuck on Prime Reef (frozen). But I'm willing to give everything a shot.

Hey Mike, just checked out your site and it is terrific. Great design, great humour :D

And yes, that is definitely a C.rhomboidalis you had ..... super rare and super beautiful fish. You take some outstanding pictures. I'd love to see what else you've got (as I'm sure a lot of people would too) in our photo gallery forum.

I mostly alternate between frozen mysis and a frozen concotion based on Bornemanns coral feeding recipe.

If your looking for something different, get some frozen cyclop-eeze. Sarcophytons and sps love it. Its small, and some fish will eat it and others not. My biggest fish, a 3 inch white-faced tang goes nuts for it.

Why, 'Mac's Famous "Fish Loaf"!' of course :D

A home-brew ala Borneman mix...
Honestly, have noticed differences in my tank since switching to this type of food. Things are much better, and I haven't had the same persistent red-slime from hell, as I got using prepared foods. Fish all have really good coloration, healthy as horses, hardly ever a case of ich. And EVERYTHING likes it. My puffer eats the Nori in the mix, my tang goes after the bits of crab shell.. go figure :?:
