r/o question

anyone know exactly where the flow adjuster goes inside the tubing on an r/o? is it after the membrane? before the mebrane after the deionizer? it seems that mine has been moved to a spot that is inhibiting my water making.
any advice would be appreciated.

The flow restrictor goes on the waste output.

Correct that way your RO filter can properly squeeze water through the membrane.
