there is this thing in the back of my tank that i have never seen before until a few days ago. it has about a dozen tentacles that it uses to pull things to itself with. it seems to be able to move sand/particles along its tentacles. i can't get a look at the body as it has dug itself into a rock. (there's a pile of dirt on the outside) i was able to get a few pictures of it tonight. (pictures 13 and 15 on the link below) i realize the pictures are pretty bad, but its all i could get. does anyone have any experience with a bug like this? an ID and info would be great.
also, is picture 14 on the link an aptesia anemone, i've taken pictures during the day and people tell me its not, but at night, it looks totally different.

). Those cool snails are called keyhole limpets (see the "key" hole on top?) and are of the genus Diodora. The little anemone looks like it may be either some sort of aiptasia or an anemonia. They all look the same to a turkey baster full of kalk! :twisted:
