OMG -- I just switched from a BakPak Dual R to a Life-Reef CS6-2+ that I got used....wow.

Filled up the skim cup in like 10 hours with the nastiest smelliest motor oil color crap.

Boo Bak-Pak. Yay Life-Reef.

BakPaks are good skimmers. Obviously LifeReef has a kick ass skimmer, but bakpaks are cool too...

420puff -- oh, I do agree! For a tank that is a little smaller than my 120 the bak pak is a wonderful skimmer for the money!

A Lifereef CS6-2+ is not even in the same class as a BakPak. That's like compairing a wheelbarrow to a dump truck!

Thank you Hillbilly..Bak Paks are good for smaller tanks i guess if you put one on a 120gal tank, youre gonna be disappointed...you dont bring a knife to a gun fight

Yeah, the Bak-Pak won't be able to keep up on a large tank, but should be fine on a small one. The Lifereef is a powerful skimmer that works great on the bigger tanks. My son has a lifereef on his 180, really nice!
