The other day I checked on my reactor and the bubble counter was clogged and not producing any bubbles even when wide open. I took it apart and put it back together and it worked. Now 2 days later I checked on it again and there was no pressure in the tank and it was at 1000psi the day before. I took the regulator off and opened the tank and there was nothing. Where did it go? It couldnt have gone through the reactor because my ph would have gotten very low and it was 8.4 also the selenoid would have shut it off. Could the pressure have built up and blown it all out the blow out valve? Has anyone had this happen? I have only has it for a month or so and it is a 5lb co2 tank.

Did you check that the washer that goes between the regulator and tank was in place? You can use soapy water when you get the tank refilled to check for leaks.

Check for leak, as jorge said. As for the observation above, just keep in mind that CO2 will maintance the pressure until almost all the gas is gone. That's why the pressure gauage is not used to show you how much is left. Same pressue when it is 100% full to 0.01% full. It can be 800psi one minute, and if you take two gallons of gas out, it will drop to <200 psi, for example.

Well I got my c02 refilled today and hooked it up. I noticed a leak on the selenoid where it connects to the bubble counter. When I took it apart to fix it it didnt seem like it ahd any special seal and it is held together by 4 screws. Any ideas how to get thats thing sealed good? this is the regualator I have http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem. ... uct=CO3111. It leaks where the black selenoid touches the gold part.

Try duct tape or WD-40... ;)

Sorry, can't help it. I guess you may need to do without your reactor for a day or two. Give MarineDepot a call when they opened...

Can the solenoid be removed? If you can do without it, just take it off and connect the needle valve directly to the regulator... I don't have the same unit, so maybe someone else have experience can help you out... :?

Reactor up and running!! :D :D
I started searching for a gasket on the floor where I took the selenoid apart. Well I dont know how but on the ground I found the smallest ring gasket and it fit around the selenoid. Problem solved
