JUST ADDED A SINGAPORE TO MY TANK. IT RARELY COMES OUT OF THE ROCKS AND HAVE NOT WITNESSED HIM EATING FOR A COUPLE DAYS NOW. IN YOUR EXPERIENCE, WILL THIS DUDE JUST HIDE AND STARVE TO DEATH, OR WILL HE SLOWLY BECOME MORE COMFORTABLE AND EAT?
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I FEED MY ANGELS BESIDES FORMULA ONE AND BRINE?

The singapore is a grazer. I waited for months for the LFS to get one in that was actually out and out in the display tank and picking at the rocks. Got him and he quickly became a star in my tank. Always out grazing on the rocks and glass. Then poof, over the course of a week or so (approx 4 weeks after being added to the tank), he contracted crypto really bad (haven't seen that in my tank for years). He was a tough little bugger, held on for another couple weeks, but eventually died.

Singapores are kind of a 50/50. Either they stay hidden in the rockwork almost all the time, or they're out and about. I hope your tank is relatively large with a good bunch of established live rock. If your singapore stays happy and healthy, he'll actually pick at filamentous algae (hair algae).

Here's mine when he was still healthy:
