I have some submerged hose clamps in my sump that are starting to show some rust. I thought they were stainless steel, guess not. Any opinions on the best product? I have seen the plastic hose clamps the Marine Depot and such carries.... Any other ideas?

How about those plastic ones you can get from Home Despot and the like? (Thinking those for auto applications.)

I have used the plastic ones from MD with no problems. I cannot think of any other replacement clamps....

I use plastic clamps I got from my LFS. I've never seen them at Home Depot. I wouldn't trust any metal clamp in salt water.

I think when it rusts it just puts iron in the water, but I think that can give algae a leg up.

if you use zip ties, just buy a big pack (i like to rearrange things a lot as many of us do, zip ties must be cut off...)

I checked my toolbox, and I've got a buncha those plastic clamps that are used in auto applications. I'm pretty sure I got 'em on the cheap at Chief Auto.. or maybe it was Kragen. In any event, they don't seem to be coated in anything, and I know they last!
