I want to build a skimmer-experience help?

Ok, so since posting last i have aquired a stand to hold my 20gal high reef tank and another underneath it. I am interested in building a skimmer, i would like to ask who has built skimmers to help me out with some design that they were quite pleased with. Thank you for your continued help, Tony-------PS I have looked around alot on the internet for DIY and am interested in YOUR experiences and opinions on what i should build.

I never built it myself, I had to have a DIY'er do that but this is the design mine is based on and I am very happy with it.
