I just bought a salifert KH/Alk kit.. I'm a little worried, my KH is 13 and Alk is 4.69...

What are the effects that these high numbers can have on a tank?

How do I get the numbers down?

Everything else test fine: Calcium 450, Nitrates 0, Ammonia 0, PH 8.4....

I do run a calcium reactor, could this be part of the problem?

It's only a tad high and I wouldn't worry about it. As anyportstorm says, it'll come down in time.

Yeah, not a bad number, dont go higher or you risk a cement sandbed, or snowstorm (sucks cleaning glass after that!)
