Red Serpent Star

Any info on Red Serpent stars would be appreciated. I thought it would be a cool addition to the tank, but, I am reading that they get large, and was wondering if this variety could attack any tankmates like some brittles can. Saltwaterfish.com lists them at 4"-10". Is there a smaller variety?

Also any other common compatibility issues I should know about would be appreciated.

I had a red serpent for a long time and it never bothered anything. Can get fairly big, but never had a problem, unlike the big green brittle stars.

i have a green serpent sea star it hasn't been a problem its about 10" now but if u have the space for it go for it
