ok i have had this for about 2 months now, and not sure of exact species but it seems to have gotten coraline growth on it. first pic you really dont distinquish it from rock. maybe it takes on a pattern like this to help hide itself. not sure but it is pretty cool

I don't think its coraline -- its blending into its environment, like a chameleon -- I heard some of them do this. However, you can always touch one of the pink spots and see if it is hard or not. That would be one unhappy sea hare once the coraline encrusted all the way around!
