Nassarius snails are the best!! I have them in my sandbed and the plow through and keep it stirred up very well. I also have micro stars in there. I purchased kits from IndoPac Sea Farms and Inland Aquatics to boost sandbed. I supplimented with additional nassarius recently from Reeftopia online. Defintely less expensive than the stores here in ATL for the critters. Check out the three companies on the web and look at the kits they have. I was very pleased with my orders.

On a side note, where do you buy livestock in ATL? I order online sometimes but have my favorite places here and was curious about yours. Cappiccino Bay and Marine Fish in Marietta are two good ones.

Current trends are pointing towards the idea that a sand bed will fill up with detritus and that it is a good idea to export that detritus. The set it and forget it sandbed is falling into disfavor.
