I'm looking at getting a 150w HQI for my 20 gallon. I really don't have the time to build/fabricate a reflector-socket-UV glass setup for the canopy. So I started to look online for fixtures.

PFO, $104.99
ReefOptic III $105.

Which would you go with?( Insert stories of good/bad here) I'm getting an icecap ballast, so I'll have to do some wiring either way.

Does anyone else have a suggestion for another fixture? SOmething 150w HQI DE that I can get for cheap? (HD or Lowes?)

TIA

Just got 2 PFO DE HQI 150 pendants for my 55 (along with the 220 pc I
already had). Make sure you get the 20ks, the light is incredible...

I just ordered a pair of the reef optix in for my tank and should have them installed soon hopefully. I was going to go with the PFO cause I have seen them and they were nice but the little differnce in dimensions swayed me to the Optix and the test results from Sanjay made me think they had the edge but from what he said they are quite close
