Do you guys think it would be ok to run a pump, then UV sterilizer, then the SCWD. Would there be any detrimental harm to any of the components pump, UV, or SCWD in a set up this way?

UV sterilizers, to be effective, work on slower flow than ideal for a reeftank . Check how much flow do you need on yours particularly.

The SCWD is supposed to reduce the flow by 20%, but also requires a minimum flow to work. So if you have low enough flow for the UV sterilizer to be effective, I do not think your SCWD would work.

If you only want to use one pump, I would run them in parallel, but with a valve on the UV side to regulate flow.

Ditto what BoricuaMojao said, FWIW.

Why do you want to get a UV? I noticed your other thread, so you may want to tell us who/what prompt you to consider UV.

UV is not a sure-fire way to prevent/treat ich, and it does sounds like a large drain on the resource for a fish. IMO, quarantine of healthy specimens and proper acclaimation is the correct way to approach this.
