I do it a couple of times a week.

How I do it is I lay the seaweed on a table or something and sprinkle it with selcon. I let it sit for 15, 20 minutes or so, then I put it in the clip.

I know they say on the instructions to add water and pour into the tank, but I really hate adding all that nutrient right into the tank water. I can see that some comes off when I put the seaweed into the tank, but I would like to limit what gets in my water as much as possible.

Couldn't agree more, Laura. It is a waste (thus, you MUST buy more, eh?). My methodology was to put whatever feed into a small container (small as possible so you don't waste much) and soak for about the same time. Someone recently said that they dehydrate their meaty foods a bit, then rehydrate with Selcon.. shoot, can't remember, think it was Juck or JimM who said they do this. I think it's a pretty good idea, myself.

I crush up my flake food (YEAH I KNOW) and put it in a shot glass, then I add the selcon and let it soak for a while. (sometimes overnight.) Then I target feed it to the corals and my fish get the stuff that gets suspended.

Once a week or so.

I used to feed my A. Lineatus, Nori type seaweed with the selcon dropped on it. About 10 drops per feeding portion. The fish seemed happy and healthy (fat).
