Live sand bed help please

I have set up a new 58G tank it is about 3 months old. I cycled the tank using 60 lbs of uncured Lalo live rock. I have seen no worms or pods in the sand bed and was wondering what you guys have done or would recommend I do to make my sand bed alive. I have noticed a lot of detritus on the sand bed that I siphon out weekly. I also stepped up flow and have some SEIO’s on order to see if that helps. The tanks at the LFS in my area do not look all that great I would be afraid to add sand from their set up.

You could find a local reef club and beg a pound of sand or you could buy some freshly harvested sand online.
