One of those things I never noticed when looking at other peoples tanks...
Planning a tank to be used as a divider that will be sitting between two pillars. Now have the width between them (70.5" to the trim around them and a shelf width of 20"), so now just trying to figure how long to order the tank. Will be keeping the overflows inside so tank doesn't need to be tight to the posts and maybe a space between the canopy and pillars as well.
Wondering on how much a canopy overhang is on a tank. My 75g is 3/4" an though the new hood will be custom, wondering what's standard.
The attached picture is of the show home to give a idea what I'm talking about. Area is behind the love-seat with the difference being I'm getting a 20" wide shelf (not including drywall or trim). Thinking a height of 24" plus hood.
