I'm going to need to lightly buff some scratches out of a 120 tank I have sitting in the basement, and I'm currently just testing on scrap pieces of acrylic to try to get the right "formula"
So far I only have the stuff sitting around the house as materials, basically I dont want to buy anything that'll be useless. I have some 220 grit paper, and some fine polishing paper that my grandfather used to use with metal. Now I tried the polishing paper and while it did get a scratch out nicely it left the entire area really hazy (that seemed to go away when I wet it.. ) so I feel I might be on the right track, just maybe need an even finer paper?
Anyways any help would be appreciative.
