Any idea how much a superbuffer ratio to water to use in a 1000 Ml Kent aquadoser?Any ratio will work, i would like to make it last a week but any ratio/time/dose info would be helpfull. I doubt i am being to clear.My problem is low KH. It drops 3 points everday. I belive its because i set up my aquadose with kalkwasser and i got to much calcium in. So my Calcium has been hanging around 700, even with tons of water changes ( my salt has a calcium of 450) So its taking a long time to get it down. So heres what i got. (first of all im a novice, and my tank is 6 months old)
46 gallon show tank
100 gallon sump
55 gallon refug
300lbs of rock and live sand (50/50) and lots of SPS's and zooanthinds and various mushrooms
blue chromis, algae bleemys and various gobies and a purple long tip anemone.
So semi related question is: Every thing is doing well in the high calcium enviroment. Any idea how long it would take a 46 gallon tank well stocked to consume the calcium? And is there any long term effects on any or all species in the tank.
Im trying to keep my KH up and woudl like to simplify it untill it stabalizes using my kent doser. Thank you very much
