Phyllognathia ceratophthalma, a close relative of harlequin shrimp. It also feeds on echinoderm tube feet.

Matt where did you get the pictures from? they are verry rare and hard to get a hold of in this hobby. I have only seen them one other time. I sure would love to get a pair of them to add to my shrimp coll.

If I could get a hold of a mated pair of thoes I would set up a 20gal tall just to keep them in all by themselfs :D

I got the pics from a reef diving site. Not from in a tank. Apparently they are very rare and very secretive. If you see one in the trade, I'm sure it will cost a lot. Plus hard to feed, and would probably hide all the time. But I would love one for my shrimp collection too! :D

15 gallon. I only used tapwater annd a lot of Macro. Ya think maybe the Macro didn't get out all the nasty chemicals in the tapwater?
