Nitrate Problem - Yellow Coral loseing colour

Over to the experts !
Any idea why my yellow turbarni is loseing its colour, I have had high nitrate for a couple of days but it is now back close to 0ppm.

The coral is near the top of the tank and gets 8hrs a day under the metal Halide ?

Could it have been the Nitrate ?

hi supretrack, it looks like your coral is bleaching from light, high nitrate wouldnt do that kind of damage. i recommend you move it down away from the lights until it colors back up.
