What is the largest rubber maids available? does anyone know? Possibly a link. Or any other plastic huge container? This is for a huge sump/s in my basement for my new system.
Well, the biggest you commonly see are 300 gallons, but I have seen larger tanks at live rock curing places. Not totally sure the bigger ones were rubbermaid though.
The 300 gallon tubs are available at local hardware stores here, but they may not be so widely available in areas that aren't quiet so rural/agriculture focused.
Dan, I think Garry moved here to the states earlier this year.. - Forget where 'bouts though..
I live in a pretty rural area, so there are farm supply stores near me.. - Theres a "Farm & Fleet" store on the other side of town that carries them year-round, you may want to check the yellow pages for something similar in your area.
You might be able to find them at some of the co-ops, farm stores and places that cater to horses might also carry them or at least be able to order them.
Round these parts it's Southern States or the Farmers Farmacy.
make sure u tighten the bulkhead and remove and retape the drain plug. i had a problem with both of mine leaking at the bulkhead when they are full. 300 gal is alot of pressure on the bulkhaed.
Heh. I guess those 2 pics show that pretty well. The first pic is my front yard and the 2nd pic is the view from my back yard. I do have a neighbor off to the east about 1/4 mile away but there is a canyon between us.
