Hi all,
With your help, I chose and bought a MH pendant for my new tank. I went with the 250W AquaMedic Ocean Light with a 15000K bulb. Thank you.
I have a new problem now. There's too much light spilling out everywhere. It looks like my house is radioactive. You can see it from the sidewalk.
Has anyone created any sort of light shield for their pendants? I don't want a canopy per se, but some light (as in not heavy) enclosure that looks good and is pretty well ventilated that i can put around the pendant, maybe resting on the tank lip to cut down the light escaping and giving my room mates skin cancer.
I can almost envision something like this, but not quite.
Any ideas or input is appreciated.
