10k MH bulb turned yellow

I bought 2 400W HQI pendants, ballasts & bulbs about a month ago.

I noticed just yesterday that one of the two bulbs is putting out a very yellow color & not the bright white that it used to. (looks kind of like when the bulbs are warming up for the first 10 minutes but remains that way).

Is this bulb toast? I had a good buying experience from PremiumAquatics when I bought everything. Hopefully they'll be just as good in cust. service if I have to get a bulb replacement.

Does it remains yellow if you swap the bulbs? If that's the case, then you probably want to talk with PA for an exchange.

What brand is the lamp?

Sounds like Hamiltons, which they're known to do from time to time.

I'm quite sure the bulb was CoralVue.

I will swap the bulbs today when I get home to see if the problem is with the ballast or the bulb.

The early CoralVue bulbs have been known to do that too.
