Well- I am just wondering if anybody else has the wierd test results with this salt as I do-
Last box I bought- Ca-430
Alk-3.1
Mg-1050??? WTF?

The next box I bought- Ca-430
Alk-2.6??? WTF?
Mg-1300 !!!! Yay!!!
So the last box I have to dose the heck out of my tank with Mg
Now this box I have to get the Alk up to at least NSW level?
I am using salifert kits,Refract to 1.025,temp at 79.

Does anyone have a phone number I can call to talk to tropic Marin? Thx

I usually get varying values with different batches of any salt. I've only started using TM Pro lately and my first batch (from a 200g bucket) tests fine. Is your alk readings in meq/L? If so, 2.6 is within NSW levels depending on what reports you read.

TM is in germany. Their contact info can be found on their website:

Most aquarists prefer to keep their alk elevated. NSW is more around 2.5meq/L. I've seen and kept many tanks with meq/L between 2.3 and 2.8meq/L that do very well.
