seahorse problems - help!

okay so some of my recently "birthed" reidi seahorses have been getting all weird on me. i had a little male get the whole gas bubble in the pouch thing. i was able to get that taken care of. aftewards it seemed like the little guy couldn't "suck" anymore. he would chase after food and then try to suck it up but nothing would happen. i could see that he was frustrated. eventually he wasted away and died. now one of my females (who has obviously NOT had any pouch problems) is doing the same thing. . . any help here for a remedy would be MUCH appreciated! thanks!!!
