Last night I came home from work and found my Clarkii getting blown around the tank. Then he would lay in the corner on the sand. This morning I found him at the bottom corner barely breathing. It is truly a sad day. No signs of illness and he was feeding well. My guess is just old age. I guess we never know how old they really are when we get them.

RIP

Here he was two days ago.

My eight year old who named him Woody(from TOY STORY) took it pretty badly.

I think I might get two. I think that will look cool in the carpet anemone.

Dang. First the 9 year old damsel and now this.

I guess all fish have to die one day.

On a side issue, do you have problems with the carpet eating shrimp, or small fish. I'm thinking of getting a carpet in my new tank.

I have not had shrimp with the anemone. BTAs never ate them, but I would not try a carpet. I think the Shrimp recognize the BTA as a predator. I'm not sure they would recognize the carpet. No fish lost to the anemone yet.

The worst is that they say it comes in threes.
