It is a carnivorous flatworm that feeds on copepods. They are considered benign in a new tank.

that my friend, is a flatworm. from what i've read on other posts they are harmless as long as it's kinda translucent white which is what it looks like.
i had an outbreak of the orange variety; there were thousands of them everywhere.
