Florecsent Ballast Problems, uh, again...

what are my time frames for fixing florecsent bulbs that aren't working. right now it is just the metal halide, and the two compacts.

can you have a reef tank live without that much light?
--meaning: just metal halide and compacts?

may sound ignorant, but i am for certian still beginnerish...

I forget your exact equipment list. You should be ok for a while. Alot of reefers run with MH only.
