hey everybody, a while ago i posted about a powder brown having issues with something growing on it's skin everywhere (eyes, fins, body) it was kinda like little worms or something growing on the skin, I finally got the PB out of the tank about almost 2 months ago and dosed with copper, last week I noticed that everything was basically gone. however I was getting ready to put him back into the display last night and noticed that there was still a little bit of an issue on his side. it isn't big but it is the same stuff that he had before, and it grows and spreads rapidly. the PB has been in quarenteen for a month and a half with a healthy dose of copper and still isn't cured of this. does anybody have a product in mind other than copper or can be used with copper that might remove this from the fish?

he isn't happy in his little box and wants to swim freely again. thanks.

hey nobody had any answers to this one, i wanted to give an update, it appeared the powder brown was completely healed, he was in copper for over a month and a half, I put him in the display tank and in one days time everything came back to the original problem. he is a tough fish to handle all this and still act normal and eat normal, I know this stuff will kill him, i am thinkinag about setting up a 45 gallon copper tank instead of him living in a 10 gallon box.
as said befoe it isn't ich it is kinda like little tubular growths and they are everywhere on him. anybody have any thoughts?
I feel bad for him he is a nice fish.
thanks

it still has the same issues and is still doing fine, I can tell he is itchy it is worse some days than others as soon as i can get him out again I will. and put him back into the QT, but this fish I can tell I am going to have him for years nothing phases him in the least. he is strong and doesn't change any eating habits at all. and he tries to antagonate my shoulder tang.
he is crazy and he has white streamers hanging off of him.
