Drop-in vs Inline

Would you recommend a drop-in or an inline type chiller, and why?

Inline. It's easier to make sure you have proper flow to the coils, and you can plumb the chiller as far as you want from the tank as you want. Inlines are also more efficient.

In-line as well. I have mine plumbed about 3 feet from the tank. My buddy has a drop in that he just got and I haven't heard anything good from him yet. Lots of belly aching though.

Most can get away with fans alone. However, after much research I found that a room A/C is best, because it cools the tank AND you!

But, to choose between the two I would pick In-line as well.

I have a drop in , only cause I got a good deal on it. If I would have bought new I would have got an in-line. I actullay have not used it yet.
