Three weeks ago I added a small green star polyp to the tank. I already had a very nice peice doing fine. The frag was in the tank for almost 3 weeks with no problems. My fish never bothered it (to my knowledge). One morning i woke up and it was gone. The hairy polyp part was inside( i hope).

Water levels are fine, except calcium. I even took some to the LFS for a second opinion and he checked everything it was good, accept calcium was a bit low. Calcium was around 400-420. My nitrate is only reading between 5 - 10. Any ideas at all???

I am leaving it in the tank with hopes that it will come back.

you will find that those corals can go in a little cycle. They will do great for a while and then it will suck in. I think it does this to shed it's skin or get rid of ditritus or something or another. It happens. I would not worry.
