So I want to model my tank with bright pinks and yellows. So the yellow will be gorgonia in part. Does anyone have any suggestions for keeping them. I have a 55 gal with power compacts.

Also does anyone have suggestions for pink and yellow colors? NO LEATHERS.

From what Ive heard. The best way to keep non-photosyntetic gorgonians alive long term is to leave them in the ocean.

 In tank with non-photosynthetic gorgonian for a yellow, the pinks could be scleronephtya and the yellows - sun coral (nothing compares in brightness). Equipment for this tank should be capable to process sewage of the small city.
Couldn't resist, sorry. No offense, eh?

I have all of the above, sclero is almost impossible, only my gorgonian Diodogorgia nodulifera is red, and there are big troubles with water quality - think twice will it worth it or not. All of them require heavy feeding, water pollutes very quickly, and frequent and massive water changes are depressing for the corals and aquarist - in a long term. Was there, done that.
If you wish to go this way anyway, I can describe how I feed my gorgonian - have it for a several months only, but have visible new growth. Sun coral spawned few times.
