feeding candycane

what is the best food for a candycane coral. i have been using marine snow, wondering if there is anything better.

i use reef plankton (frozen) but today i put formula one flakes/reef planton/ formula one frozen all in a syringe and fed it to my corals, i saw the candy canes mouth open and eat it was awsome

quit using marine snow. it's 1% garbage, 99% water.

Candycanes (caulastrea) are LPS meat eaters. get some frozen cubes of food (or make your own)

About 1/2 hour after the lights go out feed them. You'll see how cool it is.

They are good eaters and like most any meaty food. Oh, and Bingo is quite right about Marine Snow.

man, every time i try and feed them my fish steal all of ther food.1 2 3....... ahh better trying again.

wow, my candy canes ive never seen em like that!!!! ive seen them open their mouth and the food would go in it!! never tentacles like that, should they be like that>?
