Refuge?pics?

i just got into SW have a 10 currently cycling and a 55 just sitting here waiting to become a reef sometime in the future

i was wondering whats the best type of refuge to use breeder tanks? tall tank wider tank ? custom tank?

sump and refuge i was told i could just go with using refuge only and stick heater skimmer in there ? if any one has any pics of their refuge and suggestions id appreciate it.

Alot use a 20 long some use a 40 breeder. Shallow is usually better so you dont have to build a stand for an in sump skimmer to set on. It also gives you more workable room under the tank to actually access the sump.

I find just about anything that holds water works fine Taller is sometimes better if you want a small footprint and want a DSB in the refugium.

i got mine built by wetdryfilter.com. they can make acrylic or glass, i got acrylic so i can drill it easily myself.
