hi all

i was fragging my bush coral tonight and i found this when i turned the bush around to get a good look at where to frag

i touched off it by accident and the flowery lookin bits retracted into what looks like a red stone with loads of small holes in it

is it a hard coral?

will it survive in my tank i dont have the best lights?? just 2 t8s and 1 t5

and whats the snow flake looking stuff down on the left?

I think it's Astreopora too. I'm sure it's fine in your tank. It grew in the wild fully shaded by a soft coral, so it likely doesn't need much light.

I agree with Bleeding's Clove polyp theory. I have a couple, they look just like it but diffrent color. Very cool!
