i added a desjardinii tang to my 200 gal tank which houses a purple tang
and the purple is bullying the hell out of the desjar he doesnt seem to stressed out but he has 3 bites out of his dorsal and anal fins.
i moved the rocks around and have had the lights off to keep the encounters between the 2 fish as peacefull as possible but the purple tang isnt showing any signs of easing up on the desjar,
its only been one day,is it too soon to tel if they will be able to co habitate peacefully,if so how long should i wait granted the desjar doesnt get hurt
if purple hurts him to much more hes gone

also if i do decide to sell the purple tang is there anyone in the south west ohio area intrested in a purple tang very good specimen about 2.5in long
good coloration eats well

thx for the help guys

Sometimes tangs will kill off new tangs that are introduced after they are already established.

Sometimes the aggression subsides after awhile.

I would just suggest that you keep an eye on the situation and be prepared to remove one of them if the situation escalates.
