I am surprised that not a lot of people are using these. It should be more popular among the hobby.

I'm just concerned about the moisture in the stand during the summer months. I'm thinking that the back of the stand would be ideal.

So basically you get a toggle switch for every outlet? Yeah, I'm surprised they're not way more common.

They are also much easier than hard wiring everything inside of the wall and much smaller than making your own out of switches and outlets in an electrical box. I too am very happy that one was recommended for me.

Yep. For 18 bucks you get a powerstrip with 8 outlets and a toggle switch for every outlet.
There are two drawbacks that I see, both of them small. There is not enough space between the plugs to plug in a timer, so you need to run a small x cord. There is also not much space above or below the toggles for labeling, so you have to go to the sides.

Rich, some DJ panels has programmable relay for each of outlets, IIRC. I am sure some have LCD panel for easy programming, but I did not look too much into that section of industry.

Well, I finally installed it this evening. For some reason, it would not work with my 3-way GFCI plug. So, I picked up a single GFCI plug and we're good to go :D

It's going to be so nice not having to unplug equipment anymore

Nice Karl. I'm using the same thing on the 180 I'm setting up.
Chris, I think I'm going to upgrade to a 180 soon. You should set up a thread for it because I'm full of questions. :)
