star fish

i have had chocolate chip star fish from the beginning (1 1/2 years) got home today and one leg is gone. is he going to die or should i leave him in the tank.ant ideas on what could of happened to leg havent changed anything in a long time. :?:

do u have shrimp in the tank with the starfish.,some shrimp eat star fish
plus i wouldnt be to worried starfish can regrow their arms just give it some time

no shimp have one cardinal fish two emarald crabs,one pom pom crab, some small little cleaner crabs,chocolate chip star fish,some kind of green star fish i think bahama and urchant and turbo snails. i did have another chocolate chip come up missing about six months ago
do you think something could be eating them
