The magnet (dark grey) and the light grey piece are supposed to be together. Can I just glue them back together? If so, what should I use? I thought about going with superglue but didn't know if it would be strong enough and then I thought about epoxy but don't want to mess it up before I consult you all. :)

Thanks for the help in advance.

I would give the super glue a try. What is the worst that can happen? It will break? That looks like a MJ. If it is you can buy a replacement impeller assembly, IIRC.

It is an MJ impeller. I didn't want to dish out basically the same amount of money of a new one into an impeller if I didn't have to. :) Worst case with superglue is that it'll come apart at some point. Worst case with epoxy is that it'll never move again.

i lost my impeller in a skimmer (red sea berlin) It completely broke and didn't spin. try to figure out exactly what the ratings are and make and model and try to replace the impellar, my replacement impellar cost 13 dollars as oppossed to buying a new pump.
